Rooted in CTA’s Instructional Leadership Corps, the Cultivating Teacher Leaders network empowers classroom educators through regular conferences, workshops, and mentorship programs that span from high school to early-career teaching. By fostering partnerships with K–12 districts, CSU Fullerton, and nonprofits and leveraging NEA grants, the program strengthens educator leadership, diversifies the profession, and builds a sustainable teacher pipeline

Cultivating Teacher Leaders

Participated in Teach to Lead’s Leadership Summit and Leadership Lab, where I was selected to develop and advance a project focused on the recruitment and retention of a diverse teacher workforce. Collaborating with educators and policy leaders, I refined actionable strategies to strengthen teacher pipelines and create more inclusive school communities. This experience deepened my commitment to equity-driven leadership and systems-level change in education.
